"Li Chu Shuk-kwan Education Fund Award Scheme 2021-2022”(Extended Application Deadline to 28 February 2022)
Aims
The Scheme was set up to encourage people who have successfully overcome the obstacles caused by visual impairment and strived to achieve excellent academic results. Meanwhile to encourage visual impaired student developing their talents or participating in social affairs actively.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Visually impaired students who are receiving integrated education provided by registered educational institutions in Hong Kong can apply Academic or General Division;
- Or visually impaired youths (Age from 15 – 30) who are non-student can only apply the Public section of General Division
For Academic Division
- Achieved outstanding results in the recent school or public examinations;
- Submit the school’s recommendation letter.
For General Division
- Achieved outstanding performance on their talents (excluding music related items) or participating in social affairs actively.
- Submit the recommendation letter and other proven documents of their own talent or achievement.
* The judging panel reserves the rights of final decision.
How to apply
Completed application form, together with the required documents (see Part A of the application form), should be sent by mail to "Hong Kong Blind Union Jockey Club Vocational and Educational Resources Centre” at Unit 13-20, G/F, Tsui Ying House, Tsui Ping Estate, Kwun Tong, Kowloon, Hong Kong. Please mark "Li Chu Shuk-kwan Education Fund Award Scheme 2021-2022” on the envelope. Submission can also be made by fax at 23387850 or by email at verc@hkbu.org.hk.
Deadline

Awards
Each awardee will be awarded a certificate and a scholarship.
Academic Division:
Primary Student Division $1,000
Secondary Student Division $3,000
Tertiary Student Division $5,000
General Division
Secondary Student Division $2,000
Tertiary Student Division $3,000
Public Division $3,000
The awardees must attend the award presentation ceremony to be held at the in March 2022.
Publication of the results
Selected awardees will be notified by late February 2022.

"Good Mentor Commendation Scheme 2021-2022”
Aims
The Scheme was set up to encourage public awareness for integrated education and recognizes teachers and students who have provided enthusiastic supports for visually impaired students. The election aims to promote caring, inclusive campus atmosphere and equal opportunities for students with visually impaired.
How to apply
