"Running Blind, Running Far" Marathon Charity Programme 2025

Marathon Charity Programme 2025

Hong Kong Blind Union is one of the beneficiary organizations for the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2025 "Marathon Charity Program" and has received charity slots for fundraising purposes. We will allocate some slots for visually impaired runners and their guides to raise funds for Blind Union, to support services for visually impaired individuals.

The marathon symbolizes perseverance, and the spirit of surpassing oneself, much like the resilience and courage shown by visually impaired individuals when facing challenges. We hope to gather a group of visually impaired people who love marathons and sports on this platform, and through their participation, convey a positive message to the the society to showcase their independence and ability. This aims to promote inclusiveness and ensure the visually impaired receive equal opportunities in the society.

We sincerely invite the public to register as charity runners or donate to support us. We believe that even with limited vision, we can run towards infinite possibilities. Let us all take action to support visually impaired runners!
